Captain Marvel #1 (silver age) -1968. Was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and designed by artist Gene Colan and first appeared in. Captain Marvel is now a female character in the movies but this is the iconic first self titled Captain Marvel comic which has a totally 60's look about it. Very collectible comic and with only between 1700 - 1800 copies graded in the world and only 145 graded at 7.5 at CGC that makes this a very scarce book. This comic book has just been graded with CGC so the case is brand new. A solid investment for the future especially due to the very low numbers of graded books. Cases are nearly all brand new and are all in good condition so any marks that show in the picture will be due to the camera lens or glare in the image.
