Captain Marvel 47 CGC 9.8 SS Alex Ross Signed Timeless Juggernaut Custom Label
If the certification number is listed in the item specifics and matches the number on the label of the book used for the scan, that will be the exact book you will receive. If the certification number in the item specifics reads "Multiple Items/Certification Numbers", only one of multiple books was scanned to use for a listing with a quantity of multiple like items. You may receive an identical book of the same issue, cover and grade and the case will be in acceptable condition but it may have a different certification number than the book used for the scan. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE CGC CASE (HOLDER). CGC Views their plastic holder as a means to protect the actual book from damage rather than a pristine part of the grade of the book or the item as a whole. There are a number of minor imperfections and flaws such as minor scuffing and scratches, minor cracking and/or indentations along the edges from the process of sealing the book inside of the case and minor imperfections in the plastics from manufacturing. Newton Rings are an optical illusion that happens when the inner plastic (inner well) touches against the hard plastic of the outer case (outer well) that creates a faint rainbow illusion. Most of the time this can only be seen at an angle or when light reflects on the plastic and since it's an optical illusion, it doesn't show up very well, if at all in scans or photos. CGC does not count Newton Rings as a flaw and they no longer reholder newly graded books that arrive to their customers with them at no charge, like they've done in the past. Newton Rings do not show up on most CGC cases but they are fairly common, completely random and unavoidable so no one can guarantee that a CGC slab will be free of Newton Rings. I do not list books with damage or any flaws that CGC would consider excessive such as actual case cracks or large scratches/excessive scuffing to the front/center of the case obstructing the view of the artwork. I pride myself on not sending terrible looking cases to my buyers and anything that arrives to me in unacceptable condition is immediately sent back to CGC for reholdering. (detailed photos of the damage to the packaging and the item will be required).
